Description

Dual master cylinder assembly / 1.032″ bore

The Strange dual in-line master cylinder is ideal for vehicles requiring four wheel braking. The 1.032” bore master cylinder should be used if single piston or 2-piston calipers are used for the front and 4-piston on the rear. The Strange Dual Master Cylinder is comprised of an impact resistant polymer reservoir and an aluminum body to accommodate dual threaded fittings (1/2 X 20).

This Dual master cylinder can be mounted either on the firewall, like most OEM configurations or to the frame rail via the side mounting holes that are cast into the body.

The use of an adjustable proportioning valve is highly recommended. The proportioning valve reduces the pressure to the rear brakes – regardless of what type of brakes a car has because the rear brakes require less force than the front brakes.

Rebuild kits and services are available for the Strange dual master cylinders. Strange offers adjustable proportioning valves, residual valves, and pressure test gauges to optimize your brake system.

The 1.125″ Bore Master Cylinder should be used if 4 piston Calipers are on the front and rear.
