Brakes become effective sooner and at lower MPH
Directs brake dust out of the caliper

Discard – .200″

Contamination
Material is easily contaminated by fluids
Keep sprays away from pads and rotors
Once affected, rotors & pads must be baked to remove impurities
Rotors must be removed from any aluminum parts before baking
Bake at 500° for 8 hours or 1000° for 4 hours
Contaminated carbon will smoke or produce odors during this process
