For Customers Requiring Maximum Weight Savings

This machining process removes additional rotational weight from the axle flange
Available for Pro Race axles, this option needs to be chosen when the order is placed
Milling is performed before heat treating and not available for existing axles

Solid axles will lose approximately .85 lbs per axle

Gun drilled axles ordered with this option will have additional material removed from
underneath the logo area, tapering down to the bore similar to the shape of a funnel
Weight savings approximatly 1.5 lbs per axle

It may be possible to have the additional machining performed on solid axles
Availability will be determined by your axle & bearing combination
